My wife was waiting for word from a store about something she needed to pick up, and she kept asking her agent if they had gotten back to her saying it was ready.
Turns out, every time she asked her agent if they had sent a message, it called the shop and asked the proprietors the current status of the order, about a half dozen times in total.
