Very interesting. Just had a call with somebody sent to me by $dayjob on why I don't use ChatGPT/GenAI/LLMs more/enough, as most people here do (also through being pressed to do so).

Gladly that person was very unbiased. She had her 'run sheet' of questions to go through, but did listen to my concerns and took them on. And she had to see that there was no way in hell I'd go and become a 'promoter' of that technology and use it more in my day-to-day activities at work.

Thanks, but not thanks. They've hired me for my expertise, not the tools to shove under my nose. And I got this call only because of an instance of Goodheart's Law occurrence: If a metric (in this case uptake of licence use of ChatGPT) becomes a target, it stops being a good metric.
