But of course, you sort of need to be looking. If there are loads of replies to a thread, and a new one replies at the top, while you're at the bottom, you might not see it without some serious scrolling. I get confused with some replies, as you need to know what they're replying to. But threading's not great, is it, perhaps because of the 3-column layout giving little room for truly visible threads.
