“But you can’t spend Bitcoin anywhere”. …well, except for almost everywhere in South Africa. Bitcoin as everyday money is taking root around the world. Gradually in some places and quickly in others. The past couple of years have been massive for Bitcoin as everyday money and South Africa is a major pulse of global growth.

Bitcoin Karoo (nprofile…jv33) is one of the growing Bitcoin Circular Economies in South Africa where this is happening at scale. Follow and support them!

If using Bitcoin for what it was intended seems odd then you need to question where you are getting information that Bitcoin is an investment?

Bitcoin is money that holds its purchasing power and is going through volitile swings as it graduates into being accepted as Money.

This is Bitcoin in an instant settlement transaction in our town. No banks, no selling bitcoin to settle Rands with the merchant. Just Bitcoin as money.
