Kids should know that they are worth fighting for.

Family peace is never worth the sacrifice of a child's ability to feel loved & cherished & protected.

Better if you don't have to fight. So much better.

But if it comes down to it, they should be able to see that they *deserve* to be protected.

They should know that they are so much more precious than other people's comfort & convenience.

They should know that their own self-worth is far too big a sacrifice just to keep the peace.
