Today my front garden is being dug up to connect us to the new water main. It’s annoying. But also, fresh safe water right to my house! A water company proactively replacing aging lines before failure! Wild. They offered to replace all my plants that are being dug up. I said no thank you as I have plenty of plants, dug up much myself and potted to put back later and I have better topsoil to put down. Jose the excavator operator was interested in a ground cover I had so potted some for him too.
