Part 1 is done! I’m now thinking of this as the first in a series of 4 or 5 pieces, rather than as 1/4 or 1/5 of a piece. To help preserve my sanity, and to recognize that it is (intentionally) self-contained and performable on its own, as I mean the following parts to be too. Every time I look at the score I notice some little engraving correction to make, but it’s ready to start shopping to potential performers.
