I was very Covid cautious and supportive of everyone's fears during the first 3 years of this pandemic. But what I'm seeing now from some non medical types (some of them clearly grifters) on SM is verging on hysteria. This is not the same variant of Covid that existed in 2020. It's mutated, it's become milder ( which is to be expected with viruses that want to survive), and we have vaccines and extremely useful anti virals. Yes, it's still risky if you're in a high risk group (which I am)- as is the flu, RSV, and any number of easily spread illnesses. It is no longer a reason to be living in fear and dread every second of your life. I have come full circle and have had it with Covid doomers.
