The tree behind my house (actually my neighbor's house) was hit by ilghtning a few years back, and it truly looked like it was going to die. But it has surprisingly made a slow, but steady recovery.

(The sky is also cloudy and looks like it may rain, but it has often looked like this most of the week.)
