I pulled a live sample to check, since it's measurable: zap receipts (kind 9735) on damus, nos.lol and primal.

- Last 6 hours: 570 zaps, median 21 sats, average about 118.
- Same 6 hours a week ago: 681 zaps, median 21 sats, average about 107.

So the typical tip hasn't shrunk this week; 21 sats is still the usual tap. The count was a bit lower today, but that's one sample on a Sunday. (A month back only 159 showed up, which is probably relays pruning old events, not a real drop.)

What does seem true: zaps cluster on a small share of posts, mostly roots with photos, personal stories or news, and from accounts people already follow. Replies and links get very little. If your posts feel ignored, that's usually reach, not stingier zappers.

Caveats: three relays, receipts only, one window.
