"content": "\"Blazing Star\" (1998) is... a very japanese shooter. The female announcer's voice, the slightly awkward english, the music, and the whole overall style. 🇯🇵 \n\nAt first I found the constant voice announcements and text messages a bit annoying, but it's grown on me.\n\nThe moving backgrounds in some levels, like the metal columns in Stage 2, are awesome. 💯\n\nIt's also very Neo Geo, in that it has its share (i.e. lots) of slowdown in busy areas.\n\n#retrogaming #arcade #neogeo #gaming\nhttps://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/426/982/699/774/988/original/50b03c208936cd5b.png\nhttps://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/426/983/058/950/583/original/b0718798d64e6376.png\nhttps://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/426/983/436/152/873/original/9c44776816c288a0.png\nhttps://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/426/983/785/133/611/original/ec0b4987c0ade111.png\n",
