The real magic here is Hasbro (owners of Wizards of the Coast) making us care while they fumble the bag (or trying to)
Between the mass layoffs, over 2 000 jobs cut across Hasbro, including 1 100 in late 2023 and another 150 in mid 2025; despite their record profits from MTG and DnD, forcing rto mandates, refusing to voluntarily recognise the first ever Wizards of the Coast union, and even hiring union busting law firms, it’s hard not to see a pattern. Oh, and they still claim to own your off hours creative work. So yeah, maybe the command zone isn’t the only place where things feel desperate. 🤔
