Here's a connection I wouldn't have made had I outsourced the related work section of a paper I'm working on to an AI agent. Call graph analysis (how functions call each other in a program) was developed by two groundbreaking female researchers. Barbara G. Ryder described static analysis in a 1979 IEEE TSE paper and Susan L. Graham and her co-authors published a dynamic analysis method and tool in 1982. We owe both our gratitude for the insights we now depend on when analyzing code.
