"content": "Suggestions on software to provide both ad blocking and other content filtering for an inline device? I'm familiar with Pi-Hole for ad blocking (I do this today with a raspberry pi that's inside the router's network) but not with other options. The problem with our current setup is that the Pi-Hole only helps with my wireless network; wired clients bypass it by connecting to the internet gateway directly (due to physical constraints).\n\nThinking of putting a dual-NIC device inline between my router and the internet, for whole-network ad blocking and other content/access control.\n\nProbably a mini-PC running some Linux. Looking at Beelink and GMKtec as likely options.\n\n#homeLab #homeNetwork #contentFiltering #piHole #askFedi #advice",
