For once I fell asleep before midnight last night. Then woke up early with the house cold and fire nearly out. (This after waking up in the middle of the night to replenish it.)
It got down to 18F/-8C overnight, which is the coldest it's been here all winter and down into 'worry about the water pipes freezing up' territory. But the sun just popped up over Prairie Mountain, so it will be warming up a bit soon.
