I wanted to make a quick comment on alt text for images. I was pushed into alt text by several people. I get the idea. But the alt text system on Mastodon is messed up. I can take a benign image add alt text to it, and then Mastodon hides my image behind a safety screen. In other words you have to click on it in order to see the image, benign or not. I really don't get that.
