trying to find context for this, seems like Usenet-Rewind? If so, it is pretty expensive for what it is to be fair, $40/month for full downloads.
I think it’s not Google that’s set this precedent, but orgs like Internet Archive and Anna’s Archive are more likely what springs to mind when people think about a theoretical Usenet archive.
I am curious where the data for this particular archive came from, does it just still exist on commercial Usenet servers like Newshosting? 🤔
