I don't really know why for the past couple of weeks I've been lowkey obsessing about reverse-engineering the de-integrated logic of the RCA/TI CD4059.
There is literally no reason today for anyone to know how to use that chip or how it works internally unless one happens to have an electronics project with a hard rule against using basic MCUs with firmware that arbitrarily counts to N before outputting a pulse...
