The only party with even a hope of reversing some of the BS in the upcoming civil election in Vancouver is COPE and their mayoral candidate Stephanie Allen has withdrawn from the race for unknown reasons. I had one of their campaigners at my door the other day and tried to understand what their viewpoint is.
I don't understand though why they all want to defund the police when supposedly crime is up so disastrously in BC. Yet when I look at the crime pages, there is very little news. One suspects that hiding the facts has become second nature to Canadian journalists.
