When I organised conferences I had no
money and I made no money and the conference was only possible because the speakers came to speak for no money.
Would I get away with that today?
If I was able to raise enough from sponsors and tickets to pay for a venue and lunch, would anyone be able to afford to come and speak ?
I vaguely have the itch again but debt and/or profit is not an option.
