Firefox 2006 didn't need to put a tooltip in my face saying "Try out our new innovation: tabs! If you are tired of pop up windows, now you can read multiple websites on the same OS window".
You know why? Because the usage pattern to make the new feature helpful was OBVIOUS.
Meanwhile, 20 years later, we get "Try asking chatGlobalWarming to read the page for you".
