... for me gen AI as we have it now is almost the opposite of the net I love. It gets between people, instead of connecting them. It silos people and reinforces prejudice. It plays sycophant and pleases where the net challenges assumptions. It limits learning to itself instead of encouraging risky searching. It makes people comfortable, and never upsets them or challenges people to grow. Our AI offers ease, but it's the ease of the cage, never the pain of struggle, self doubt, and growing.
