“There’s a new home run champion of all time, and it’s Henry Aaron!”

On April 8, 1974, Henry Aaron, Negro Leaguer and Major League Baseball player, broke Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record, hitting his 715th home run amidst death threats and pervasive anti-Black racism from many white people across the U.S.

Thank you Henry, for all you did for the game.
