⚡️ NEW: Iranian Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says reports that IAEA inspectors will be granted access to Iran’s bombed nuclear sites are “false.”
Ghalibaf said Iran’s parliament and the Supreme National Security Council have already passed a specific law and resolution respectively governing inspections. “Under no circumstances will access be granted to sites that have been bombed and damaged,” he said.
He added that IAEA inspectors are currently authorized to access only the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant and the Tehran Research Reactor, with no additional access beyond what has been approved by the Supreme National Security Council.
“According to the law, the determination of access levels is the responsibility of the Supreme National Security Council.”
