Always remember that free software doesn't suck because it is free. It sucks because they are made by a ragtag group of virgins in their basement without billions of dollars of funding.
The fact that free software can usually do 99% of things with a little frustration sometimes that you can do with proprietary while only using 0.0000000001% of the budget is proves how awfully inefficient proprietary software development is.
