The Kyiv Independent will present a new documentary, “Can You Hear Me? The Invisible Battles of Ukrainian Military Medics” on Dec. 12.
The film’s authors Francis Farrell and Olena Zashko followed a group of Ukrainian military medics as they journeyed from the heat of battle in war-torn Ukraine to the serene forests of Sweden for a short mental health retreat.
The film’s premiere will take place in Kyiv on Dec. 12. It will be screened in Ukrainian with English subtitles, followed by a discussion with the co-authors of the film in Ukrainian. WARNING: The film contains graphic scenes.
