The "problem`*`" about Free Software (and Open Source as well) is when the meaning of "freedom" can be subverted to allow a usage of the code that is exploitative towards human beings. For instance, releasing a missile guidance system or a system that processes a massive network of surveillance cameras as Free Software adheres 100% to the spirit of Free Software, but... do you really want to allow that freedom?
