Hey mutuals on mastodon.social, I am _begging_ you to please move to a different, smaller, and better moderated server. The process is easy: https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moving/
.social is FAR too big in terms of users, they have too few moderators, and they keep getting hit by spam waves and because Mastodon (the software itself) has crappy moderation tooling, everyone else also bears the brunt of it too. See this thread for an example: https://tenforward.social/@guinan/113506140606431213
I have the whole of .social blocked on my single-user toot.virtualwolf.org instance because I don't feel like having to deal with all of that myself.
