One of the suppliers told me that labs, educational and specialty chemical suppliers are all experiencing delays at the moment, even if large industrial customers continue to receive supply... So it seems upstream suppliers are prioritizing sectors where the silver nitrate is very difficult/impossible to replace (e.g. electronics, medical/pharma manufacturing) and any more niche applications are seeing shortages...
