A2. My husband and I are radically different sizes (5'2" vs. 5'10"), but he likes small bikes (as do I) and I can actually ride his 27.5" wheel mountain bike if I use a shorter seatpost. It's not super comfortable for me, but it was enough to be able to say "okay, so that's what a modern bike is like. I still like my old bike better." I wouldn't try his 29" wheel bike.
