The ban is going to do more harm than good to kids who are neurodivergent, or LGBTQ+.
I know several kids with autism through my personal and professional life, who find it much easier to communicate over social media rather than in person. Which may be due to being socially awkward, being non-verbal, having a horrendous stutter that makes verbal communication a problem or they find embarrassing, or any number of other reasons.
