gatekeeping psychologists / psychiatrists are the worst. the former are literally hit or miss and the latter suffer from a severe lack of empathy towards their patients
not to belittle their "science" or anything, but mental health really is the most subjective and overall f'd up branch of medicine... and a bad practicioner can do so much damage
