Bursting with PRIDE: "I worked in the lab in the institute for Neurological Diseases and Blindness from 1961-1969 in a program that studied the effects of infections from viruses, bacteria, and other microbes on birth defects if the mother became infected during her pregnancy. We did a lot of basic research on developing the German measles vaccine...During my time at NIH, I learned a lot and was exposed to great scientists." #vaccines #STEM
