I would have loved to have seen it.
I just found this image online (late 1920s). Can you imagine the park looking like that and there being no carving on the 'rock' face? *sigh*
It still has nice walking trails, though it would be great if it returned to nature (vs. being corporate).
And it *would* be great if the carving were removed!
