Adam Back has been tracking the journey of Bitcoin price’s 200 week Simple Moving Average since October 2024 when it crossed $40,000. It recently crossed $65,000. He thinks it is Bitcoin’s ‘floor price’.
200 week SMA is calculated by taking an average of Bitcoin’s price recorded at the close of each of the last 200 weeks. For Bitcoin markets, each week opens at 12:00 AM GMT on each Sunday.
