I've also stepped through the initialization of my site and it seems to happen at random places in the code. It's only happening with *this specific site*. Running other apps using this version of PHP don't have this issue.

Can someone explain why this started happening? I've got the output buffer enabled. `ob_clean` does *not* clear these lowercase 'o's from the buffer.
