(re-)Reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to my eldest, chapter by chapter. He could read it himself but this way I can read it again, and I can skip some (only very occasional) rude words, and give him 1980s context.
It's weird almost how the gadgets explained in the book don't seem futuristic any more. The guide itself is like an e-reader or tablet just with a lot more buttons (it's almost confusing that it's not a touchscreen). Zaphod Beeblebrox is filmed by a drone buzzing around him.
