I thought this one stuck the landing better than Hench. I suspect the romantic angst is setting up a triangle (with Decoherence, great name) for the third book, and I'm here for that.
Also I hadn't seen that cover (bought the ebook) and it's REALLY good. Center the character with the cane? HELL YES. Kudos to the artist.
