"content": "Sawmilling practice. In the dark, as we're experiencing an acute daylight shortage. Should've built up a larger reserve in that daylight savings account, I guess.\n\nCouple boards from one of the very eager maples that popped up in the garden between two sheds.\n\nGetting used to measuring upside down and lining up logs. Small logs are great for practice, lots of lining up and if you get it wrong you have nothing usable left, but also not wasted any good material. The other side of this had a bunch of knots and sproinged into banana shape.\n\nI can make some birdhouses from these or small boxes or something.\n\nAlso cut a few stickers first, as you do. There's a nice ventilated drying area on the rest of the concrete beams.\n\n#Sawmilling #DIY #Homestead #Saw #Woodworking\nhttps://f2.tchncs.de/media_attachments/files/117/530/639/842/624/944/original/626ef6de47e3a3f1.jpg\n",
