It's very frustrating. When I started my animation project years ago, I got contributor applications from Blender artists in Cuba. I could take their work, but it was illegal for me to pay them for it.
So I had to turn them down. That sucked. They were pretty good artists.
I was feeling optimistic when Obama started normalizing relations, but we've obviously slipped very far from that now.
And for what reason? None of it makes any sense.
