You can make a triangle from the center to the top left
Right side has a height of 4, half of bottom has a length of 2, hypotenuse is sqrt(2^2 + 4^2) = sqrt(20)
Subtract 4 to get diameter of circle, divide by 2 to get radius, square radius and multiply by pi to get area
So ((sqrt(20) -4)/2)^2 * pi
= (20/4 - 4)pi
=pi
