"content": "The #AppleWatch made me do it! Since I've already cancelled tomorrow's planned snowshoeing outing, I didn't want another day with empty exercise rings. Also, today's fresh powder is gorgeous. So, I wandered up and down our shopping street and popped my head into a few shops. The only tempting one was the pen and journal shop, and that was clearly a super popular pre-New Year destination, with a long lineup at the till. \nAt the end, I stopped at Paris Baguette to work on my Korean. The new employee was super excited when I wished her a Happy New Year and ordered my Americano in Korean, and she came over to invite me to do some regular language practice. I'm impressed that I can initiate more conversation. The learning is getting absorbed.\n#YEG \n#winter\n\nhttps://cdn.mstdn.ca/media_attachments/files/115/793/687/354/813/655/original/5110322c707bf477.jpeg\nhttps://cdn.mstdn.ca/media_attachments/files/115/793/688/691/108/037/original/faad8ddddde5c91c.jpeg\nhttps://cdn.mstdn.ca/media_attachments/files/115/793/689/363/546/506/original/fd186245cd662242.jpeg\nhttps://cdn.mstdn.ca/media_attachments/files/115/793/690/208/155/110/original/c9192048e97542ff.jpeg",
