Interestingly, no, though it does run in the family. Not even pre that I'm aware of -- my A1C is solid. Though I did certainly learn that my high-fiber morning cereal was causing quite the spike, which I am managing with workout timing, protein beforehand, etc. And I had been sedentary enough that I was probably on my way. Definitely a wake-up call.
