My cynical take:
High time preference people (a majority) spend what they earn. If you pay them in USD, they will spend USD. If you pay them in Disneybucks, they will spend that. If they get their hands on some sats, they will spend them.
Find a way for 1 million workers to get paid in Bitcoin and point them to a place to spend on food, transport and rent. They will spend.
For example: Bitcoin payouts for Uber drivers, delivery workers, airbnb hosts.
