A moment to be proud of myself...
I was invited to a movie out at the theater. In the past, I'd have said yes, despite knowing I am not able to handle that today. People pleasing. This time, I said no, and stuck to my plan of a movie here - staying within the amount of energy I could spend safely.
A couple hours social, in the house, within limits of what I had available.
Instead of frazzled and overwhelmed, I'm simply at "Ok, enough of that for now". 😁️
