My curiosity is over 9,000. I often see Gnosticism talked about disparagingly here on fedi.
But, I aware of some who were deemed Gnostic, simply for pursuing a personal, deeper relationship with God. (such as the chairman for the comity that decided which books would be in the Bible cannon)
