One of my student workers hates chocolate. Her birthday is soon so I asked her what sweets she DOES like. She said with enthusiasm, "Macarons!" I thought, "Well, fuck. That's hard."

Then, Ok. Challenge accepted.

I spent this weekend studying macarons. I bought the ingredients. I prepared to do battle.

Friends, it isn't going well. They look like lumpy tits. Hilarious, but again today, I want to cry. Photo is the lumpy, tit shaped pink macarons halves lined up for the oven.
