I'm amazed at how many seem to have forgotten that the objective of government is to govern wisely, and, where policy objectives (e.g. lower interest rates on credit cards), it makes sense to collaborate on legislation to achieve it.

And supporting a policy that will benefit millions of American households is maybe a good idea, no matter the source of the proposal this time around. It's a logical extension of the limited action Biden took.

And Sanders praised the idea, not the man.

So I'm not sure what the complaint is here.
