when I lived in Atlanta and worked in midtown, heavy rain would just pool up, the drainage system was useless. One day I was waiting with other monkeys to dash out to the parking lot and sure enough I got soaked. I had an appointment afterwards and so I learned to pack extra pants, socks, undies, shoes for such days 😆
