Broken record time

furry is a queer subculture.

I am glad to be a furry.

You do not need to be queer to be a furry, but I see furry as a whole as a queer space. It is not an exclusionary space.

That there is the big deal about it. It is radically inclusive.

That is the point. Everyone who wants to be a furry is welcome and embraced, as long as they extend that kind of perspective themselves.

Which is why furries also tend to be loud about kicking out fash. Sometimes it works.

I keep repeating this.

It is because of THAT that furry helps others to actually explore and figure themselves out.

That it is a space where people can TRY ON expressions, identities, shapes.

Shaping themselves, finding themselves through it.

It is liberatory.

I am glad I get to be a furry.
